Our daughter Ariane spent a year at Glenalmond College and during this time Agnes and her team were there for her as Guardians. Everything worked wonderfully, from the first contact to the on-site support and the organisation of host families for the holiday periods. Especially when our daughter was ill for a short time, Agnes took care of everything perfectly. We could be sure that Ariane was in good hands during the whole time.

I worked closely with Agnes and Edinburgh Guardian Angels in my capacity as Assistant Houseparent and Matron at Fettes College Preparatory School.
Agnes shows nothing but dedicated commitment to her clients and the children in her care.
Her communication skills and attention to detail are exceptional and no question is left unanswered and it is always answered in a friendly and timely manner.
Agnes is approachable, efficient and caring in everything she does whether with the children in her care or in the process of liaising with parents, house parents and school.
Her paperwork is detailed and accurate and I would not hesitate to recommend Edinburgh Guardian Angels to anyone who requires a kind, caring and reliable guardianship agency for their child.

Our son has been under Agnes’ guardianship for 2 school years. What we appreciate the most is that Agnes and her team are always responsive, and this “human touch” makes Edinburgh Guardian Angels stands out from the other big guardianship company.
We still remember our first meeting with Agnes online not long after we approached her, and she had provided us not only valuable information on her services but also, importantly, the dos and don’ts – what to expect and what we shouldn’t from a professional guardian, as guardian and host family is not our full-time nanny and they deserve our respect and co-operation.
We are most grateful for the care offered by the admin staff and host family of Edinburgh Guardian Angels. The team is taking good care of my son, no matter when he was sick and in need of care or picking him up at the airport in the wee hours after term break, not to mention, a warm- hearted birthday party and birthday cake for our son while we are 9,545 km away! Can’t recommend more.

Edinburgh Guardian Angels have helped me in several different ways to get settled in Scotland and my school as soon as possible.
Before arriving, I was sent all the important documents that I may need, like where to buy school uniforms. I was also sent booklets explaining where I can search for help if needed and who to call. I am always in touch with my guardian, she always replies to me within a couple of minutes if a problem has to be solved. For example, I had some difficulties with opening my bank account in Scotland, so I texted my guardian and already in 2 days I was on my way with her to the bank.
I have met my guardian many times, before I arrived to Scotland via Zoom call and during the school year we have frequently met to discuss my life and experience in Scotland. Edinburgh Guardian Angels is an outstanding organisation that has helped me get settled in Scotland in the best way possible. I will always only recommend this organisation if I would be asked which guardian organisation should we connect to.

I am so happy that I had Agnes as my Guardian. I could call her every time there for me when I needed help. She tries hard to know what I needed and was a warmhearted guardian for me.
I will miss that going to dinner and to make jokes with her. She gave me an wonderful host family for the holidays and phoned me often to ask if every thing was okay. I will never forget the time that I have spent with her! She is a wonderful guardian!

You know, it is always a kind of an adventure for children and parents as well, when children leave out for the first time.

We arrived at EGA without knowing them, only by recommendations. Now, we already know that we have succeeded. EGA has provided us with all the logistical coverage necessary for our son to travel safely, punctually and comfortably.
They are fully reliable, responsible, careful and always aware of the needs and evolution of the child throughout the year.

Edinburgh Guardian Angels (hereinafter EGA) has been providing guardianship
services for my son since he started at boarding school in April 2016.
From the first contact with Mrs Masters I was aware of the professionality,
attention to detail and competence of the organisation.
The mechanics - e.g. travel arrangements are efficiently dealt with and problems
that crop up rapidly and firmly dealt with.
EGA has a good network of host families and my son appears to be happy with
them, although inevitably he has some he prefers more than others.
EGA provided major support to our son - and indeed to myself at a difficult
time in our lives and continues to do so.
I would not have the slightest hesitation in recommending EGA to any other
parents. As Mrs Masters is fluent in German this recommendation also applies to
pupils coming from Germany.

My son Raphael who is now twenty years spent the year of his 16 years in Loretto college . We are French but we live in the Indian Ocean which makes complicated exchanges. Agnes Masters organized everything for us the welcome, the relationship with the college, the host families always very good.
It is for these reasons that we chose to ask for Agnes help again when our youngest sons, Mathias and Florentin (twins) aged 16. they are in Longridge college (we found thanks to Agnes).
Our sons are delighted as she listens to children and worried or them another very important point for me is that we often have news by mail. A very good job Agnes!! nothing to say more!
I could speak about a lot of more: your welcome, your gifts, the hosts family always so nice, time in your house with your husband...Raphael have very good memories about!
