Agnes Masters and the team at Edinburgh Guardian Angels are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the AEGIS Gold Standard Accreditation Award.
This award from the Association of Education and Guardianship of International Students gives us the seal of approval that we have the highest standards of safeguarding children.All of our employees including Host Families are thoroughly vetted and trained in Child Protection.
Our AEGIS inspection report states “Edinburgh Guardian Angels are, as schools suggest, extremely child centred.They take time to meet their families, going to great lengths to ensure that they are
well supported in the process of attending a UK Boarding School”
We are one of the few AEGIS accredited organisations in Scotland and we are very “Family Friendly” taking good care of the parents as well as the children.

Become a Host Family with Edinburgh Guardian AngelsOpening up your home to become a host family with Edinburgh Guardian Angels is a unique, rewarding, fun and educational experience for all the family. It gives families a chance to meet new friends and experience different cultures and languages. Welcoming an international student into your home will allow them to experience maximum immersion by living as ‘locals’.
